My husband and I live on a farm in rural Garden City. I grew up in Mankato, near Minnesota State University Mankato with my parents and two sisters. In 1984 I graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a BS degree in Elementary Education and a Concentration in Kindergarten. I have taught at Loyola Catholic School since 1987. Currently I am a fourth grade teacher. I have also taught Kindergarten and third grade at Loyola. My husband Tim and I have 4 children; Andrew, Brandon, Rachel, and Sarah all Loyola graduates. We also have 2 daughter-in-laws Pam and Erica. A granddaughter Zoey and another grandchild on the way. In the summer I enjoy spending time with family and friends camping, biking, and kayaking. I also like to garden. In the winter I like to snowmobile and snowshoe. Anytime of the year is a good time to be relaxing with a good book and a Diet Coke!
